Hiking

This walk starts at the third highest mountain of Costa Rica at the altitude of 3491 meters (11,500 feet). And ends at 2200 meters (7,250 feet). This tour takes approximately 12 km (8 miles), because of their great difference altitude trail takes us through three different types of forest as paramo, forest, the pre-montane, and montane forest. With many species of plants and trees which stand out the Oaks with its branches laden with bromeliads, orchids, mosses, and lichens which invite us to continue to enjoy his Majesty can be seen along this path.

We encourage you to bring binoculars, camera, or a mobile phone to take pictures, also, we recommended the use of sunscreen.
